The Alexandroni Brigade is an elite infantry Recon brigade comprised of  Egoz (SF commandos), Sayeret Golani (SF reconnaissance) and Golani infantry reserve soldiers. The unit was formed in 1948, Named after the river in Israel, Alexandroni.

The brigade's specific mission is focused on Hezbollah and its special forces "Radwan".

At the very moment it continues to defend the north of the country and engages specifically anti guerilla warfare, executes recconaisance and rescue missions.
