Sightseeing
Crossing the Alps in the Bernina Express certainly is one of the most spectacular ways to do it. Along the way, the Bernina Express rolls Hollywood-style over the 65-meter-high Landwasser Viaduct, the signature structure of the Rhaetian Railway and the UNESCO World Heritage site. Travellers are treated to marvellous sights during their journey.
Walking
You don’t need to be a top athlete to be able to enjoy the great outdoors in the Upper Engadin – quite the opposite. You can explore the picturesque Upper Engadin lake district between Maloja and St. Moritz on a number of short hikes or easy walks. The physical exertion may not take your breath away, but the marvellous Alpine panoramas certainly will.

Thrills
Take off in a helicopter and enjoy a bird’s eye view of the Engadin. The helicopter will bring you very close to the peaks of the Piz Palü und Piz Bernina – and up into seventh heaven! Look down on the sparkling glaciers and the shimmering lakes until the granite rock seems almost close enough to touch.
